Experience and knowledge required for effective performance in the position ?
5 years experience in an architectural discipline, systems development and
infrastructure development that also includes the following: ?
Experience in and understanding of architecture development, information
technology, and application of best practice methodologies ?
Experience in developing technology strategies ?
Experience identifying technology trends and future directions ?
Experience in an operational environment similar to the size of the
organisation.
Key Deliverables / Outcomes?
Ensures architecture in the organisation meets the strategic and architectural
direction, and business requirements, by: ?
Understanding, documenting and maintaining the current architecture ?
Developing the future architecture and associated standards in line with the
enterprise architectural framework and maintaining it in line with governance
direction and decisions ?
Providing advice to business and ICT management on new technology, application
or infrastructure integration and improvement opportunities ?
Formal review of all business cases that have architecture impacts, as part of
compliance management processes ?
Researching technology direction and maintaining appropriate documentation.
