The ideal candidate will be a NZ Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) who has extensive experience in a corporate treasury or investment banking environment. A solid understanding of financial instrument risk, derivative instruments and specifically financial instrument valuation methodologies is required as well as a strong working knowledge of IAS 39. Financial market systems knowledge and experience in financial risk quantification are also a prerequisite as is the ability to develop external relationships to contribute to the growth of not only the team but the organisation as a whole.
The successful candidate will be confident, articulate and client focussed with the vision to participate in strategy setting and marketing of services at a management level. High levels of initiative, integrity and resilience are essential as well as excellent communication skills.
